My OOTD

This is my OOTD of yesterday. I wore jeans and a blouse with my awesome new wedges!

I got my wedges from Old Navy and I LOVE them! I've legitimately wore them three days in a row!

As for jewelry, I wore a black flower ring and a black bracelet with a rhinestone cross.

For makeup I used various products. I used my Too Faced eye shadow palette from Sephora. I used a drugstore brand eyeliner and mascara, and my Elf eyebrow kit from Target.

My hair was up in a high ponytail with a silver ribbon tied into a bow. It was an easy style and only needed a pony tail holder and some hairspray. And the ribbon, of course!

That was my OOTD of yesterday! :)

I just got back from an amazing restaurant called "The Melting Pot." It is a fondue restaurant and it was delicious!!

The first course was spinach and artichoke fondue with bread and veggies for dipping! Then I had a small salad.

The fondue with bread.

After for an entree I had various vegetables, tofu, and ravioli prepared in a wine and garlic broth. We prepared the meal ourselves on a small stove built into the table!

Then for dessert we had little pastries and fruits dipped into a cookies and cream fondue or a s'mores fondue.

The entire meal was sooooo good. I could just eat fondue for the rest of my life and be fine, I think! :)

City Trip!

Today,  I ventured into the wild and dangerous jungle known as NYC. I'm just joking, the city isn't a jungle, but it certiantly was quite the adventure! I went with my friend Anna and my mom's Girl Scout troop to an amazing restaurant and to see a new Broadway show. Aside from the pouring rain, the day went pretty well. We even got a chance to stop at the M&M store in Times Square. :)

Anna and I on the train.

The restaurant I went to was called "Ellen's Stardust Diner." I had a Mediterranean Salad and a milkshake. The best thing about the restraunt is the singing waitresses and waitors. Awesome!

Next we went to the M&M store, which was fun!

Although I was very annoyed with the blatant sexism shown by the sexualization of the green M&M.

Obviously sexist views shown by the fact that women , the green M&M, should only shop.......

And men should fly airplanes.....

And ooh, look at her sexy leg. Only the female M&M should have sexy legs obviously!! >:(

After that, we went to see Bring It On,  which was FANTASTIC.

Also, there were some really great street performers in the city today! One dancer and one man playing "the drums" on various objects. It was very entertaining and they were quite talented.

Overall, the day went extremely well! I love the city and always enjoy my time there!

My Outfit Today

I've decided that I will share my OOTD (outfit of the day) with you lovely people!

Today, I wore a blue vintage dress that I bought from a local thrift store, Savers. I love it because of the flower pattern and lace towarrds the neckline and the hemline. I accesorized with a thin black belt and round vintage sunglasses. I wore my tan strappy sandals, which I think I got from Urban Outfitters but I could be wrong.

For jewelry, I wore one of my pairs of vintage earrings from Savers. I also wore an interesting turquoise ring.

I wore my hair in a high bun which I made using an old sock and some bobby pins. I pretty much just made a high ponytail and wrapped it around the sock.

And for makeup I stayed extremely simple with just a bit of lipgloss. I applied my favorite MAC lipglass, which is part of the Viva Glam collection.

So, that was my OOTD. It was pretty simple to do and relatively inexpensive because I got most of the pieces from a local thrift store. More OOTDs to be posted in the future! :)

Hello again! Today I went to a delicious candy shop called "Sweetie's Candy Cottage."

I love the color scheme!

The candy was absolutely scrumptious!

The graham crackers were to die for!

And the decor was adorable!

Over all, my experience at this shop was incredible! What a perfect way to spend a hot summer day!

Hi everyone, my name is Angelique and this is my first post. I think for my first adventure I'll talk about an incredible Japanese restaurant that I went to today!

The decor was awesome and the sushi bar was so contemporary.

The name of the restaurant was Aji 53.

And most importantly, the food was delicious! I had vegetable gyoza, miso soup, and two rolls: a sweet potato roll and  cucumber-avocado roll.

Over all, the restaurant was very satisfying and a great experience! I highly recommend it.
