OOTN 8/10/12

By OOTN I mean outfit of the night, because I went out to dinner tonight with my family and some friends, and already having done an OOTD, decided to make a seperate OOTN.

I wore my black strapless dress that I recently got on sale at Urban Outfitters. Needless to say, I'm in love with it.

I left my hair in its high bun and wore my all time favorite Mac lipstick "Fanfare."

For jewelry, I wore silver dangly earrings from Forever 21 and assorted bangles that I think I got at a generic store such as Target. But then again, they could be from Joyce Leslie.

And I wore black platform heels, which were suprisingly very comfortable!

Another trend that I am jumping on is platforms and flat forms, if you all haven't noticed! :)

OOTD 8/10/12

Today, I wore an adorable blue crop top with a slit back from a thrift store in Williamsburg! I love this top! Under it, I wore a neon yellow sports bra. I also wore my high waisted studded shorts that I originally got at Savers but then changed by bleaching and studding them!

For shoes, I wore silver sandals.

I had my hair up in a high bun, which I again made using a sock.

Then I wore a choker-type necklace from Urban Outfitters, and the only makeup I wore was my Mac "Snob" lipstick, which is a matte pink.

I wore my neon yellow bag from Forever 21.

And, of course, arm candy!

Arm Candy!

Okay, so my new favorite trend is arm candy! First of all, it's a great way to wear all of my bracelets at once. :D Second, it just looks so cute! I have a bunch of bracelets just lying around and it was time to put them to use!

This is two days worth of arm candy. The first one I am wearing my watch, a few bracelets from Forever 21, and a Jucie Couture bangle. In the second photo, I am wearing some bangles I got as a gift, a Chanel bracelet, and a rhinestone bracelet from American Eagle. Loving this trend!

OOTD 8/9/12

Today, I wore a mint green blouse from Joyce Leslie and light peach colored lace shorts from Forever 21. I wore a multicolored crystal bib necklace from Forever 21, also.

As for shoes, I wore ivory flat forms from Urban Outfitters.

And then, of course, arm candy!

My OOTD

This is my OOTD of yesterday. I wore jeans and a blouse with my awesome new wedges!

I got my wedges from Old Navy and I LOVE them! I've legitimately wore them three days in a row!

As for jewelry, I wore a black flower ring and a black bracelet with a rhinestone cross.

For makeup I used various products. I used my Too Faced eye shadow palette from Sephora. I used a drugstore brand eyeliner and mascara, and my Elf eyebrow kit from Target.

My hair was up in a high ponytail with a silver ribbon tied into a bow. It was an easy style and only needed a pony tail holder and some hairspray. And the ribbon, of course!

That was my OOTD of yesterday! :)

I just got back from an amazing restaurant called "The Melting Pot." It is a fondue restaurant and it was delicious!!

The first course was spinach and artichoke fondue with bread and veggies for dipping! Then I had a small salad.

The fondue with bread.

After for an entree I had various vegetables, tofu, and ravioli prepared in a wine and garlic broth. We prepared the meal ourselves on a small stove built into the table!

Then for dessert we had little pastries and fruits dipped into a cookies and cream fondue or a s'mores fondue.

The entire meal was sooooo good. I could just eat fondue for the rest of my life and be fine, I think! :)

City Trip!

Today,  I ventured into the wild and dangerous jungle known as NYC. I'm just joking, the city isn't a jungle, but it certiantly was quite the adventure! I went with my friend Anna and my mom's Girl Scout troop to an amazing restaurant and to see a new Broadway show. Aside from the pouring rain, the day went pretty well. We even got a chance to stop at the M&M store in Times Square. :)

Anna and I on the train.

The restaurant I went to was called "Ellen's Stardust Diner." I had a Mediterranean Salad and a milkshake. The best thing about the restraunt is the singing waitresses and waitors. Awesome!

Next we went to the M&M store, which was fun!

Although I was very annoyed with the blatant sexism shown by the sexualization of the green M&M.

Obviously sexist views shown by the fact that women , the green M&M, should only shop.......

And men should fly airplanes.....

And ooh, look at her sexy leg. Only the female M&M should have sexy legs obviously!! >:(

After that, we went to see Bring It On,  which was FANTASTIC.

Also, there were some really great street performers in the city today! One dancer and one man playing "the drums" on various objects. It was very entertaining and they were quite talented.

Overall, the day went extremely well! I love the city and always enjoy my time there!
